Sarah Venge

Sarah is the anchor in our Venge Vineyards operation. In addition to managing her own practice as a consulting dietitian, she is committed to all functions of Venge with direct input on the long-term goals of the family business. An outstanding chef and winery host, she performs our most vital function: raising the next generation in Venge winemaking tradition.
 

Jason Williams, Director of Sales, Marketing & Operations

Jason is responsible for managing all aspects of the sales, marketing, and operations for Venge Vineyards. When Kirk asked Jason to join the Venge Vineyard family in 2008, he promptly accepted, "My decision was unreservedly based upon my first impressions of Kirk. I knew farming and making wine was in his blood and it was obvious to me that his commitment to the Napa Valley was inate. I was inspired by Kirk and Sarah's vision for the future of Venge Vineyards and resolved to be a partner in the winery's success."
 

Sheila Franks, Sales & Marketing Manager

Sheila joined Venge officially in 2011 and comes with a long list of accomplishments in working for many prestigious properties, such as, Merryvale Vineyards, the Robert Mondavi Corporation, Far Niente Winery, Nickel & Nickel Winery, and Cain Vineyards & Winery. Sheila is a vital member of our winery family and keeps every detail of the sales and marketing machine humming along. "I cannot think of a better place in the Napa Valley to be than Venge Vineyards & Winery. What we are doing with the new Calsitoga estate vineyard and winery provides me with an unparalelled opportunity to put all of my experience into action for Kirk and Sarah. This is such a special place and the Venge family is certainly one of the most gracious families I have ever worked with."

 

Matt Coit, Winery Direct Assistant Manager

Matt comes from a mixed background. He spent the first half of his life being raised by wolves in central Yugoslavia, but at the age of 12 he was rescued by English explorers and raise in the upper crust of Londonian society. As such, he exhibits unquestionable etiquette while still maintaining his wolfish charm. When asked what he loves most about Venge, Matt gives his charming smile and simply howls at the moon. Classic. Matt is a great addition to the Venge family and has had a variety of responsibilities with us. He began working in the shipping department in early 2010 and worked in the cellar through harvest before moving up to manage the tasting room in April 2011. He is responsible for ensuring our guest experience is nothing short of outstanding, "The changes that we have made over the last two years allow us to host people in a way that wine country was before it became commercialized. Visitng Venge is a very personal, one-on-one experience. You sit with us, taste, and converse on life, food, wine, and how it all integrates with what we are attempting to accomplish. It reminds me a lot of my wolf years - it is kind of like "packing" out with my kin." (Insert Wolfish Charm Here)
